The Role of T-Hub in Youth Entrepreneurship Development

T-Hub is the most pioneer non-profit innovation organization based in Garowe, Puntland state of Somalia for enabling Somali youth with most recent innovations and directing them for incredible careers. 

T-Hub was conducted two days of training that supports youth, women, entrepreneurs, small business owners to provide digital entrepreneurship education activities in order to increase their sense of initiative, entrepreneurship, Self-empowerment and self-esteem. The training bolsters the professional development of the participants through the gain of specific skills. 

T-Hub has a significant role in promoting more entrepreneurial attitudes among the youth that is now widely recognized. Approximately 40 participants attended the training were equipped the ability to turn ideas into action. It includes creativity, sense of initiative, innovation and risk-taking, as well as the ability to plan and manage projects in order to achieve goals. 

During the speech, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Hub Mr Aidarus abdullahi says “ The entrepreneurship competence is what T-Hub advances among the youth includes therefore transversal skills and attitudes as well as more specialized knowledge and business skills in a broad sense, entrepreneurship that considered as a mindset that supports everyone in day-to-day life at home and in society, and provides a foundation for entrepreneurs establishing a social or commercial activity”.

However, investment of new business projects is essential to create more jobs and ensure sustainable youth entrepreneurship development. T-Hub unlock the potential of youth, help startups gain access to better technology, talent, business networks and funding.
